2004 Award Recipients

The 2004 Southampton Township Historic Preservation Awards were presented to recipients at the May 17th, 2005 Township Committee meeting. Photos

 

75 Mill Street ,Vincentown, NJ Chris Irick,
for the restoration of the dormers on his historic family home, the J.B. Irick House at 75 Mill Street.

 

 

57 Pleasant Street, Vincentown, NJVirginia Poinsett,
 for the painting of her Greek Revival style home at 57 Pleasant Street in a period color-scheme.

 

 

Roger and Ruth Kumpel,
 for preserving their historic family farm on Pemberton Road through participation in the New Jersey Farmland Preservation Program.

 

 

 Pinelands Preservation Alliance,
 for their exemplary adaptive reuse and preservation of the Historic Bishop-Irick Farmstead on Pemberton Road


 

 

2003 Award Recipients
 

52 Pleasant Street, Vincentown, NJMark and Nancy Cozens,
for the painting and commitment to preserving their home the historic Francis Lee House, 52 Pleasant Street.

 

143 Main Street, Vincentown, NJGreg and Joann Winch
for their painting and commitment to preserving their home, the historic
Dr. Carlisle Brown House, 143 Main Street.

 

45 Mill Street, Vincentown, NJBernie Flato,
for the accurate restoration the front porch of his home at 45 Mill Street, Vincentown.

57 Main Street, Vincentown, NJSteve Lankenau, Lankenau Funeral Home, for exemplary adaptive reuse of the Butterworth-Haines Mansion, 57 Main Street and maintaining historic integrity of the property.

 

 

Town Clock, Main Street, Vincentown, NJSouthampton Township Business Association for their generous gift of a town clock commemorating the incorporation of
Southampton Township.


     

    Bruce Haines for participation in the New Jersey Farmland Preservation Program to preserve his historic family farm on North Main Street.
