Historic American Buildings Survey

Several buildings within Southampton Township have the significant distinction of being documented as part of the Historic American Buildings Survey (HABS) project.  The HABS project, started in 1933 as a Works Progress Administration Project and now continued by the National Park Service, works to document for the Library of Congress signficant American buildings through measured drawings and photographs . For the past several years, the Park Service has been working to make available on-line the drawings and photographs of the more than 36,000 documented structures. All HABS sites within Southampton Township Sites are accessible.

Follow the links below to goto the Library of Congress HABS documentation for each of the structures.  Search the site for surrounding counties, municipalities, and historic village names yields many other interesting documented structure in our area.
