     The Guy Bryan House, one of the town's major residences, is conspicuous for its simplicity given its period and scale. It is a large simplified Italianate-type house with deep projecting eaves, a full 5 bay front verandah. Atypical of this style, however, there is no bracketing or scroll work detailing. Interiors are also very plain with simple flat Greek Revival detailing around windows and doors.

     During the Civil War, Guy Bryan as served Captain of Companies I & K in the 5th Regiment of New Jersey Infantry Volunteers. He was a founding officer of the Vincentown Fire Company No. 1 in 1850 and cashier for the First National Bank of Vincentown after it was formed in 1864.
